Are you looking for a full time role that works around your child’s schooling? Educate are working closely with a large range of lovely schools in Shropshire who are looking for Teaching Assistants to support the class Teacher on a supply basis as and when the school needs someone Educate are so busy supporting our schools that we currently require people on a full time basis due to demand (up to 30 hours) We will consider people who have child-based qualifications, but experience is more important and Teaching Assistant training will be offered We ll also consider experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSA’s) who have previously held a job in a primary school, youth club, childminding, care work or similar but do not hold any of the above qualifications. (We offer in-house Teaching Assistant training) Due to the nature of the job, it would be highly beneficial if you have a driving licence and access to a vehicle Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
• Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
• Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
• Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
