The School and Role

A large, vibrant Primary School based in the Newcastle area are looking to employ a Teaching Assistant to work full-time from January 24. This role will include a mix of general and 1:1 support throughout the course of the week, working with pupils from Early Years Key Stage 2. The Staff work closely to create a sense of belonging and they are looking to recruit someone to work on a long-term basis, with potential to turn permanent.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

• Experience of working with primary school aged children.
• Preferably a Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning course or above.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
