What will the role of an Unqualified Drama Teacher entail?

• Teaching for a maximum of 17 hours per week
• Have your own classes that they you responsible for with the support of a subject specialist mentor who would work with you intensively – No lesson planning involved
• Provided schemes of work
• Working alongside the School covering all lessons
• Providing high quality cover lessons – KS3-4 basis
• Raising attainment & the quality of learning
• Inspiring & motivating young minds
• Managing behavior effectively
• ASAP Start – Full Time
• 20,000 – 26,000 per annum

Successful candidates shall have the opportunity to enroll onto the Schools Direct PGCE – This is where you shall complete a 12-week course, resulting at the end (if successful) the status of QTS – This is pending prior experience.

Unqualified Drama Teacher PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Drama Degree at 1:1 or 2:1 from a reputable university
• Strong understanding of the Secondary curriculum required
• Previous classroom experience is required!
• You must show a passion and creative flare towards education and inspiring young minds
• Understanding of the teaching standards
