Salay : £120 – £220

Start date: September 2024

Position Type: Full-time Permanent (Part-time considered)

GSL Education are currently seeking a number of highly motivated and dedicated Qualified Teachers for Year 1 or Reception class with experience in Key Stage 1 (KS1) education to join our client schools across Slough, to undertake placements from September. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the Year 1 Teacher curriculum.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal development.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as necessary to ensure all pupils reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to promote a positive and cohesive learning community.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience as a Year 1 Teacher and working within setting is desirable, but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for innovative teaching practices.
