We are seeking a proactive and caring individual to join a vibrant primary school in Battersea, where you will support Year 3 students in their educational journey throughout the education and training sector as a Year 3 teaching assistant.

• Start Date: ASAP
• Employment Type: Full-time, Term-time only
• Salary: £80-£100 per day, depending on experience

To apply for this Teaching Assistant role, you will need:

• Experience supporting children in a primary school setting (preferably in Year 3 or similar).
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development, particularly in literacy and numeracy.
• A proactive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, and a positive, empathetic approach to supporting children.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons to Year 3 students.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support for students who may need extra help in specific areas.
• Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities and classroom resources.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive and productive learning environment.
• Encouraging students to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
• Working closely with the SENCo and other staff to support children with specific learning needs.
