On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are seeking an exceptional Primary Teacher, to start in September 2021 in a 2-form entry primary school in Bolton for a Year 4 role. This is a full-time, long-term role and you will be required for the full academic year. The school have specified that you will be paid to scale for this role.

This is a beautiful 2- form entry primary school in a rural area of Bolton. This school received a ‘Good’ Ofsted inspection in its most recent inspection (December 2019) and is a huge pillar of support for members of the local community.

This school prides itself on its excellent standards of teaching and learning. Through setting exceptionally high standards and encouraging their children to be the best that they can be, this school achieve consistently strong results. The school is ideally situated within 2 miles of Bolton town centre and is close to a number of transport links to and from Bolton and other areas of Greater Manchester

As one of the schools Year 4 teachers your key responsibilities will include:

Undertake full class teaching responsibilities for a Year 4 class
Thoroughly planning lessons alongside the other Year 4 Teacher, making full use of resources and the experience of the other teachers.
Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils, as well as their personal and social needs.
Teaching a balanced curriculum and ensuring that each child fulfils his or her potential by providing high levels of teaching standards.

The current pandemic has brought with it many challenges. This school anticipate a number of children entering Year 4 slightly behind their expected levels. Therefore, the school are looking for candidates with specific Year 3 or Year 4 experience

This school has a strong leadership team, which is spearheaded by an experienced head teacher with an outstanding reputation throughout the local authority. You will be fully supported in this role and will have access to all of the schools in house CPD

Essential requirements

Qualified Teacher Status and current experience in lower Key Stage 2
References that support a successful teaching career
The right to work in the U.K
Availability from February and the commitment for the rest of the academic year.
