Year 6 Teacher Specification
The ideal Year 6 Teacher will be a positive Year 6 Teacher who has at least 1 year of teaching experience and is able to include all students in their teaching. You will have the drive to provide stimulating lessons and increase student engagement through your passionate approach. You will have the ability to show you have a secure knowledge of the relevant subjects and curriculum areas. The ideal Year 6 Teacher will have the confidence to use visionary methods that enhance the quality of teaching and encourage pupils to become independent learners.

About the Role of Year 6 Teacher
In this exciting Year 6 Teacher position you will be leading a varied Year 6 class of 28 pupils. As a Year 6 Teacher you will be Led by an inspirational and visionary HoD and the implementation of the inclusive teaching ethos. You will have the responsibility of developing your teaching and learning knowledge on the school’s bespoke CPD course, including direct supporting from a Headteacher. Your class will be supported by a young graduate who has all the makings of a teacher and is putting their skills into practice as your designated Teaching Assistant.
