The Role:

As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher and providing assistance to students in their final year of primary education. You will work closely with the teaching team to create a positive and stimulating learning environment, helping to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one support to students with specific learning needs
• Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons
• Supporting the social and emotional development of students
• Encouraging a positive and inclusive classroom culture
• Collaborating with the class teacher and other staff members to ensure the smooth running of the classroom

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have experience working with primary school students, preferably in Year 6
• Hold a relevant qualification in education or a related field
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Be passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Be committed to continuous professional development
