TeacherActive are looking to appoint a part time caretaker to work in a primary school in the Pontypool area. The role is part time, working mornings only, 5 days a week. This is a temporary position with the opportunity of becoming permanent for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will work with the school to maintain a high-quality learning environment for both pupils and staff by ensuring security of the premises.

The role will involve:

• Maintenance of the school site to the required standard including compliance checks, general repairs, and low-level grounds maintenance.
• Moving of furniture/equipment
• Assisting staff with provision of equipment i.e., chairs, tables, etc.
• Emergency cleaning
