Protocol Education are working in close collaboration with a mainstream secondary school who are seeking to recruit a Head of Science.
As a Head of Science, you will work to develop an innovative, dynamic, and high achieving setting.
Not only will you oversee the Science Department, but you will also be responsible for teaching Science to students in Key Stage 3 to 5.
The ability to build strong relationships as you will be supporting other members of staff to be their best and interact and support with students to foster their enthusiasm for learning.
Rated as Excellent in 2019 by Ofsted this institution aims for educational excellence in all areas, showcasing this through their excellent student leadership and high staff retention.

Responsibilities:
Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.
Curriculum planning.
Communications with parents and other stakeholders.
Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
Contribute to raising standards of student attainment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
