Our highly regarded primary school are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their vibrant school from September 2026.

About the role as an HLTA

You will:

• Help plan, prepare and deliver engaging learning activities across the primary age range, including leading whole-class sessions when required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to support the planning, assessment and adaptation of learning to meet the needs of all students
• Provide tailored and targeted support for students with a wide range of needs, including those with learning needs.
• Support and help foster a positive classroom environment that is built on respect and belonging
• Support the monitoring of pupil progress and contribute to interventions that close any attainment gaps

About you

• The successful HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) will have:
• Hold an HLTA qualification
• Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and inclusive teaching practices
• Be confident in leading learning for the whole class
• Demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion in education
• Be passionate about making a difference in children’s lives
