Lecturer – English Full Time

The Role

The School of English is seeking to recruit two full time teachers with a good understanding of different cultures, young and adult learners, safeguarding principles and teamwork.

The Lecturer will be required to teach GCSE and Functional Skills English to all ages.

Permanent – 36 hours per week

Please note: The successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

Skills and Experience:

• The ability to deliver excellence in teaching and learning.
• Ability to relate to and motivate students from a variety of backgrounds and ages, and to employ effective teaching strategies.
• Candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification (Diploma in Education and Training (DET) or equivalent);
• English and Maths – must be qualified to a minimum of Level 2
• A demonstrable track record of effective teaching and delivering in the subject specialism.
