An exciting teaching opportunity has arisen for an experience, knowledgeable and passionate teacher to teach GCSE/Functional skills maths. As a Maths tutor you will have a full time cohort of learners split into groups. You will be responsible for delivering both GCSE and Functional skills lessons, bringing learning to life in a way that excites and inspires our learners. You will work closely with a learner support officer to support learners through their journey from recruitment to achievement, taking full responsibility for the achievement of your learners.
Maths Tutor Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver knowledgeable and exciting lessons
Track the progress learners make from their starting point and in every lesson
Mark and provide feedback to learners within a week of submission
Support learners to achieve and realise their aspirational goals
Maths Tutor Requirements:
You must have a proven credible track record of working in a Maths teaching setting for a minimum period of 3 years and experience of delivering outstanding lessons and achieving excellent outcomes for learners.
You must have a recognised teaching qualification with a Maths qualification minimum grade 5 or equivalent.
All positions are subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exemptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for an Enhanced Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions, cautions, warnings and reprimands.

Salary: £28,280 pro rata per annum (actual salary £14,140 per annum)
