Music Teacher Leading Secondary School Bexley

EdEx are exclusively working with a leading secondary school in Bexley, SE London to recruit a Music Teacher for a September 2026 start. EdEx have worked with this school for the last 4 academic years. This Music Teacher post is only available due to a current member of staff relocating outside of London. You will be working alongside an excellent Director of Performing Arts, as well as another Music Teacher in the department.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to make a genuine difference daily to pupils lives. • Working across the secondary school – KS3-KS5 (Great sixth form!)
• Providing high quality lessons throughout
• Working with the current Head of Music as the Deputy Head of Department
• September 2026 start
• Full Time & Permanent Contract
• Inner London
• MPS1 – UPS3 – £40,000 – £64,000
• Located in the Borough of Bexley

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must hold QTS – and have experience teaching Inner City Pupils
• Meeting the teaching standards to an “Outstanding or Good” level
• Confidence within teaching is essential
• Must be able to lead from the front
