Reprographics Technician

Location: Derby, D1 Location

Salary: £19,785 – £20,117

Days: 5 days, Monday – Friday, Term Time Only

Hours: 7:45am – 3:45pm

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: Fixed Term until July 2024, with Permanent Opportunity Sept 2024

Job Role: Assist in the management and development of the reprographics function to ensure the provision of an efficient photocopying and learning resource service for the school.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work with individuals or small groups of pupils in the classroom under the direct supervision of teaching staff.
• Frequently work with individual pupils with special educational needs and/or with pupils for whom English is not their first language.
• Implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities to pupils’ needs as appropriate.
• Participate in planning and evaluation of learning activities with the teacher, relating to the needs of students you are supporting.
• Support independent learning and inclusion of all pupils in each group you are supporting.
• Provide feedback to pupils in relation to attainment and progress under the direction of the teacher.
• Assist with the development of individual learning plans for students identified with special educational needs and disabilities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Holds a relevant degree qualification, ideally ICT/Art focused
• Comes with at least 12 months reprographics experience (does not have to be education setting)
• Has a strong knowledge and practical understanding of reprographics and ICT
• Holds, or is willing to apply for, a valid and up to date DBS Certificate
