Are you an experienced caretaker looking for a new opportunity? We are currently recruiting for people just like you to join us, working within primary and secondary schools in the Lincoln area.

Position: Temporary, part time and full time Site support and caretakers
Location: Schools in the Lincoln area
Experience: Must have UK based experience working within a similar position
Availability: Flexible day to day working, possibility of regular full and part time work

What does the role involve?

We offer staff the opportunity to work in a lively and rewarding environment, supporting both students and teachers in education settings, including nurseries, primary and secondary schools.
This position allows you to make a positive impact on the lives of young people.
Duties may include but not limited to:
Carrying out security procedures for school buildings and grounds
Opening and closing of school premises, including gates, doors, windows and fire exits for the purpose of school use, lettings, out of school hours functions, maintenance and emergency services
Regularly checking the proper operation and function of alarms and fire equipment and ensuring emergency exits are not obstructed
Liaising with the emergency services including calling out as required
Reporting acts of theft or vandalism
General maintenance duties around the school including litter picking

Who are we looking for?

We are searching for candidates with:
A strong work ethic
A background working in similar positions
Experience dealing with alarm systems and key holding

Candidates must be comfortable working on a temporary and day to day basis, and all candidates must pass the relevant checks required for working with and around children, including references and an enhanced DBS check.
