Job Title: SEN Art Teacher (QTS/Qualified Teacher)

Location: Haywards Heath

Contract: Temporary (up until Easter), Half Day Position

Salary: Paid to Scale

Supply Desk, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking a qualified SEN Art Teacher for a temporary position in Haywards Heath. This role is ideal for an experienced and dedicated teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who has a passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality art lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
• Collaborate with the SEN department and other staff members to support the overall development and well-being of students.
• Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, particularly in the field of Art.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.

Contract Details:

• Temporary position up until Easter.

Salary:

• Competitive salary paid to scale.
