TeacherActive is honoured to be working alongside a specialist SEND school based in Leeds. This school provides a stable, comfortable and supportive environment for children with challenging behaviours who may need additional support. This amazing school boasts about their fantastic support network, quality private education, referrals to support services and the additional support they offer families.

The school is looking to employ a motivated, driven and reliable SEND Drama and Dance Teacher on a long-term basis, which will could lead permanent role for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be working alongside Primary and Secondary schools which will include working with SEND children with an interest in drama and dance. The main focus of this role is to help students express themselves through drama, dance and music whilst still receiving support they may need for their challenging behaviour.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

QTS Qualification (ECTs are also welcome).
Experience teaching Primary and Secondary schools.
Understanding the needs of SEND pupils.
