The role

Empowering Learning are currently recruiting for Primary Teachers to join our team of highly skilled Supply Teachers in Harrogate to start ASAP. The successful candidate will have recent experience in a Primary School working as a Primary Teacher. Whether you’re an experienced Primary Teacher looking for the flexibility supply offers or a newly qualified teacher (ECT) looking to gain experience across multiple schools and age groups, this role would be suitable for you.

Duties:

• Lead lessons and follow planning left out by the Class Teacher
• Mark work where necessary and leave a handover for the Class Teacher at the end of the day.
• Be prepared to work with small groups of students where necessary.
• Maintain progress of students’ records

Requirements:

• Experience teaching in Primary Schools.
• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status) and be a registered member of SET.
• Have a passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
• Have relevant Safeguarding training, or be willing to complete
