Job Description: We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Special Education Needs (SEN) Tutor for a 1:1 position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special education, be patient, compassionate, and able to adapt teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized tutoring sessions for students with SEN, focusing on their specific learning needs.
• Develop and implement personalized lesson plans that align with the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
• Employ a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and assess the student’s progress, adjusting instructional methods as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to provide updates on the student’s performance and collaborate on educational strategies.

Requirements:

• QTS or PCGE is preferred but not essential.
• Previous experience working with students with SEN.
• Strong understanding of different learning styles and the ability to adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Knowledge of relevant teaching resources and materials for students with SEN.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students with SEN succeed.
